New Poto Albums

Well I have finally had some time to come on here and make a new post, and to add a couple of new photo albums. For those of you that do not know already, we got my mom a puppy for Christmas. He is a Puggle, and his name is Buster. Check out "A couple of Puppies" album to the left to see pictures. I also have inherited some new reptiles from a friend at work. I know have 2 Bearded dragons (1 adult, and 1 baby), 2 Leopard Geckos, and a Euromastyx. They are way cool, and way fun to watch. I hope everyone is having a good new year thus far. I hope to be back and posting more regularily. Have a great weekend!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I will be very busy this weekend, so thought I would post my Holiday wishes to everyone now. For anyone traveling, please be safe, and have a wonderful trip. I will only be making a 20 minute trip over to my parents house for all the festivities, so that will be nice and simple. I will also be enjoying 2 days off of work Christmas eve and Christmas day, and am very much looking forward to that. So thats all for now, again Merry Christmas to all!!! :o)

One-Handed Typing

Yeah, so I broke my arm this week. That was really good. Now I have this very lovely blue cast on my arm. Thus the one-handed typing. I get to wear it for 2 months and then go have it x-rayed again to see the status of healing. My mom was concerned that I would have it on for my brother's wedding in May (I'm a bride's maid), and said "I better not have this thing on still in May!" LOL So thats that.

Here is a good story you should all enjoy. Sorry Scott, I have to tell it. LOL So apparently yesterday my brother and his fiance, Beth, went to lunch together and then he took her back to work. Well as he was dropping her off and saying Goodbye, my brother goes "Christmas is on Sunday right?" and Beth says "No, it's on Monday." Scott goes "Is Christmas always on a Monday?" LOL Trying to keep a straight face, Beth asks "Is your birthday always on Thursday?" Scott, "well no . . " Beth, "Well neither is baby Jesus's." LOL LOL I thought I was going to die laughing when Beth told us that story. He is never going to live that one down.

Well, hope you all have a good weekend. I must get back to work.

Busy Weekend

Well it's a very busy weekend for me this weekend. Yesterday I had to work from 8:00a.m.-5:00p.m. at Woodwind and Brasswind, and then went straight from there to work my part time job at BuyCo till a little after 9:00p.m. Got home, watched like an hour of tv, and went to bed. To get up and be at Woodwind & Brasswind again at 8:00a.m. this morning to work till 11:00a.m. and then go straight to BuyCo again to work until 8:00p.m. tonight. Then tomorrow I have church in the morning, and a Christmas concert to play for at 3:00p.m., and then the BuyCo Christmas party at 6:00p.m. Pheww!!!!!!! At least I will be able to sleep in tomorrow morning since church isn't until 10:45a.m. Plus sometime in there I need to find time to study for my Japanese final. At least that isn't until Wednesday though, so I should be able to get some studying done between now and then.

So, thats my weekend! Hope everyone else has an enjoyable one! :o)

Classes almost over!

Well the end of the semester is almost here. I am working on final projects and studying for final exams. Tomorrow is our skit day for Japanese class. It's our end of the semester project to do a skit. Should be fun. It was exciting last week cause I actually got to teach the class. Our professor had lost her voice, so she asked me to lead the class in our quiz review and to help with some other things during class. It was fun. :o) Made me felt pretty special too, in that she felt I was good enough to lead the class. I'm looking forward to next semester in Japanese as we are going to start learning the 3rd writing system, Kanji. It will be nice to have about a month off classes though. To have a little bit of a break.

Not much else going on here. My Christmas shopping is about half done, but I'll probably finish it up within the next week or so. We got our first snow of the season, and have a nice white dusting on the ground. Just enough to make the ground white, but not cause any road problems really which is nice.

Things are pretty busy at both jobs with it being the Christmas season. I imagine that it will only get busier as it gets closer to Christmas. It's a good thing though. Plus we're getting a lot of backorders in stock over this week and next week, so that will be awesome to have a lot of my backorders ship and finally get paid for them.

Well I hope everyone is having a great week! Laters!

New Post!

I haven't posted anything in a while, so I just wanted to do so to update my Blog. Really, nothing has been going on, which is why I haven't posted.

My Thanksgiving was good. I did pretty much all the cooking, except for the turkey. Apparently we were really into cranberries this year too because about every dish had cranberries in it. LOL The food was all very good though. Then my brother and his fiance came over for dessert and to hang out after dinner at her parents house.

Winter is finally coming, as today we are getting our first snow. It hasn't snowed much yet, but it's supposed to turn into freezing rain tonight and then into snow. Oh goodie! LOL The snow is okay, it's the freezing rain part I don't like because that makes the roads nasty. After my accident last year the day after Christmas, it's making me more cautious and nervous this year. At least I feel like I have a better car for in the snow now mainly because it's front wheel drive instead of rear wheel drive like my last car.

Well that is about all for now. Told you, nothing really exciting. Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Same Ole, Same Ole

Nothing really going on, but I felt like making a post on my blog. Other then trick-or-treating with Emily and Susan this week, nothing else exciting has really happened. Just basically been at work, class, or chilling at home.

I will say one thing, and this doesn't really have to do with anything, but I have been able to sleep much better and get up so much easier since we moved clocks back an hour. This area of Indiana is still adjusting to the whole time change thing since this is the first year we've had to do it. I, however, am liking it being somewhat light out now when I wake-up in the morning. Although, I suppose as it gets closer to winter, that will change and it will gradually get to where it is still dark out at 7:00a.m. when I get up.

I work this weekend. Big excitement there. Next weekend though I don't work at either job because I'm going on a shopping trip with my mom. Someone my mom knows puts together this big trip every year, and we take a bus out to Illinois and go to a bunch of outlet malls and do like Christmas shopping. It sounds like it will be a lot of fun.

Well, I'm off. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
